Common Home
Common Home is on a mission to make commonhold a reality for more leaseholders. We're building a digital service to make it easy to connect with neighbours and simple to set-up and run a commonhold company.
What is Commonhold?
Commonhold is an alternative to leasehold, allowing individuals to collectively own the building their homes are part of. It avoids the need for the landlord, leases and ground rent, putting power and responsibility in the hands of homeowners instead.

How we’ll make it happen
Common Home needs the support of leaseholders to make a nation of commonholders a reality. The project will bring leaseholders together with designers and technologists to create services and tools that help them start, continue and complete their journey to commonhold.
How can I get involved?
If you want to help build Common Home and be one of the first people with access to the service you can sign-up below. We will add you to our mailing list to keep up to date with opportunities to get involved.
Common Home App
The Common Home app is currently under construction. If you'd like to be one of the first to try it out then please get in touch.
The app is a key part of a wider service to make Commonhold easy and simple for all. The app helps guide individuals who are leading their change in their buildings through each step of connecting, communicating and delivering on Commonhold. It also provides a way of those are joining in to get involved, helping them keep up to date with progress and take on responsibilities for their homes.
Who we are
Common Home is a social enterprise. It began life as an innovation project from Unboxed. It is an idea by Tom Gayler, a designer who has designed and built services across government, the NHS and private sector.
